RF Skin Tightening
What is RF Skin Tightening?
Radio-frequency skin tightening is an aesthetic technique that uses radio frequency energy to heat skin with the purpose of stimulating cutaneous collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production in order to reduce the appearance of fine lines and loose skin. Like any form of energy, RF has the capacity to produce heat—and while each brand-name application uses a slightly different technology, all work by heating the skin'sdeeper layers to induce new collagen and elastin production and encourage cell turnover, helping skin become firmer, thicker and more youthful-looking.
How it works?
RF skin tightening works by targeting the tissue beneath the outer layer of your skin, or epidermis, with radio frequency energy. This energy generates heat, resulting in new collagen production.Skin elasticity then increases and loose, saggy skin is tightened.
How often should you be treated with RF Skin Tightening?
Treatments should have at least one week in between sessions. Depending on your goals and quality of skin, we recommend a series of 3 to 12 sessions.
How long does radio frequency skin tightening last?
The effects of radiofrequency treatments will continue to improve over the next few months as the skin produces new collagen. Results typically last for a minimum of six months, although with ongoing treatments, results are often long-lasting.
What should I do after RF treatment?
Post treatment care (3-7 days) after treatment
Drink 6-8 cups of water daily.
No sunbathing, saunas, hot baths.
No alcoholic beverages (for at least 2 days)
Use sun protection cream.
